These terms explain how Nerd On Retainer subscriptions, software work, portal access, payments, and cancellations are handled.
Services
Nerd On Retainer provides software development and related services, which may include websites, mobile apps, client portals, dashboards, automations, payment systems and billing integrations, API integrations, maintenance, and consulting.
Subscription plans allow clients to submit requests. Requests are worked through one active request at a time unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Client responsibilities
- Provide timely access, content, approvals, credentials, and feedback needed to complete work.
- Confirm that any content, data, images, trademarks, or third-party materials you provide are allowed to be used.
- Use the portal and services lawfully and avoid uploading malicious, illegal, or harmful material.
- Keep your account credentials secure and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Payments and cancellation
Paid plans are billed through Stripe according to the selected subscription or agreement. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions are month-to-month and may be canceled before the next billing period.
Canceling stops future subscription billing but does not automatically refund prior payments or remove obligations for approved work, usage, third-party costs, domains, hosting, paid tools, or other agreed expenses.
Ownership and third-party services
Ownership of final work, source code, designs, domains, accounts, and third-party services should be confirmed in the client agreement or project notes. Some parts of a project may rely on third-party platforms such as hosting providers, app stores, payment processors, database providers, APIs, or software libraries, each with their own terms.
No guarantee of uninterrupted service
We work hard to build reliable software, but no website, app, platform, or third-party service is guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or immune from outages. Maintenance, updates, security work, and third-party downtime may affect availability.
Account deletion
If you create an account, you can request deletion from inside the mobile app under Account. Deleting your account may remove access to portal history, requests, messages, uploaded files, and app features.
